Moonlight casts a beautiful light around the Chateau, its folly, the mysterious bamboo forest. Together with the silver-winged heron, an enchanted landscape emerges as the sun sets and the moon rises and this tranquil, peaceful setting is perfectly captured in the “Bamboo/Heron” design.
“The bamboo forest and the heron are so representative of landscape of the Chateau, I felt they had to come together in a design which reflects elements of earth, air and water, all which surround our home. The heron is the Japanese symbol of good fortune, so what better focal point for a design which expresses the wonders of nature.”

Cushion Fillings Explained
- Polyester – A man-made fibre. It is naturally non-allergenic and a good affordable filling option.
- MicroDown – This premium filling is made using very fine microfibres, lightweight with a high loft (softness & incredible bounce) and gives great support. It is ideal for allergy sufferers as they minimise dust-mites.
- Feather – Feather cushion fillings longer lasting than other fillings, they are breathable and a good plumped cushion will last many years.
