Time for another quick educational session, today’s topic is; What Is A Tension Rod ?

Tension rods are curtain rods which use a spring inside the rod to fit snuggly inside a window frame or area. Most tension rods provide adjustable lengths, meaning you could potentially use a curtain rod from one window to the other !!

When using larger tension rods it is always recommended to use a center support or a couple depending on how far you are extending the rod !! The more you extend the rod to more strain you are putting on the middle of the rod where there is less support !!

Tension rods are perfect for hanging net curtains, voiles and light weight curtains on and are super easy to install, literally taking seconds !! You simply unscrew the inner rail, twist to extend to your required length. (slightly wider than the recess its going into) The internal spring keeps them tensioned !!
