The Walled Garden at The Chateau has gone through an incredible transformation and now feels like a really special place to be. A place that is ever-changing, a place of beauty and a place of learning.
“We always encourage Arthur and Dorothy to join in with everything we do here at the Chateau – including growing their own plants and harvesting the fruits of their hard work. It’s really important to Dick and I that the children appreciate where their food comes from and that hard work is involved weeding, watering and taking care of the plants. They have loved growing their own produce – Arthur has grown his own watermelons this year!”

Cushion Fillings Explained
- Polyester – A man-made fibre. It is naturally non-allergenic and a good affordable filling option.
- MicroDown – This premium filling is made using very fine microfibres, lightweight with a high loft (softness & incredible bounce) and gives great support. It is ideal for allergy sufferers as they minimise dust-mites.
- Feather – Feather cushion fillings longer lasting than other fillings, they are breathable and a good plumped cushion will last many years.
